Goat’s cheese can be eaten alone, seasoned with herbs and spices, with oil and salt, with tomatoes (either fresh or dried) or with honey. It can also be used to prepare first courses or to stuff vegetables. In short, it is a very versatile cheese.
It can be kept in the fridge for several weeks. Once opened the pack it can be preserved in the fridge for one week, wrapping it in a tin foil and putting it in a hermetic seal container. A little trick to keep Pecorino at the right humidity and freshness is to put one or two sugar cubes into the container!
