Description

The term Paccheri derives from the ancient Greek (from πας, “all” and χειρ, “hand”) of the first founders of Parthènope and still used in the Italian language as a “pat”, or a slap given with an open hand, without hostile intentions. Hence the name of the type of pasta, with a much larger size than the norm, usually accompanied by tasty condiments.
