Later on, the Pasquali family carefully followed the ageing of the wheels in their warehouse and, once the quality standard desired had been reached, they sold the cheese first in the local markets, then gradually also to shops and restaurants. With the passing of years, LA CAMPANELLA FORMAGGI had become a reference brand and synonym with excellence for lovers of Parmigiano Reggiano, so much so that the Pasquali family had to leave their small warehouse and move to their current premises, which can house up to 10 thousand wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano. The new headquarters, however, remain linked to the territory of origin because the geographical area is itself synonymous with and a guarantee of the quality of Parmigiano Reggiano: in the area of the Parma Food Valley, La Campanella Formaggi has been handing down for generations the noble secrets and ancient methods of cheese ageing, which enhance the organoleptic characteristics of their products with protected designation of origin (DOP).
